I've been creating art since I was 15. Growing up I was a skateboarder and incredibly attracted to the graphics on the board, which in turn served as a huge influence to my art journey.
I quickly began painting and pulling inspiration for my art from everything- music, nature, architecture, album covers, etc.
I went on to study at The Art Institute in Los Angeles and for a while was an active art seller on Venice Beach.
As you’ll notice I have a passion for abstract paintings. I enjoy all formats of abstract, and I even do some paintings just using my hands.
I often get asked who I consider my favorite artist. My answer is always the same,
I respect anyone who has the passion, because I firmly believe every artist has something to contribute.
I grew up in Chicago, so prior to The Art Institute I attended Columbia College.
I've always been passionate about all things art, including music, acting and improv comedy.
Throughout my life I've been actively involved in The Second City improv theater. My work there lead me to Los Angeles, where myself, and two others created and starred in a television show for MTV called BUZZKILL. I did a handful of other shows, and appearances, I still occasionally perform in local theater and improv, but my ultimate passion is art.
I'm a very spiritual person and believe in the power of now, and engaging in selfless service. I reside in the Chicago area, am a vegetarian, huge animal lover and I'm always listening to music.
I'm extremely close with my family. In my free time I enjoy concerts, traveling, working out, biking, hiking, trail races, meditation, and immersing myself into nature.
